A Glimpse into Sam's Day
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at six thirty. He quickly/briskly/slowly prepares for the day and makes/eats/prepares a quick breakfast. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is designing websites, which he really likes.
During his break, Sam listens to music. When his workday comes to an end, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam has supper and spends time with his family or friends. Before bed, he gets ready for sleep. Finally, Sam falls asleep at around ten/eleven.

He grabbed his/packed his/assembled his backpack/tools/supplies and set off on an exciting/dangerous/unexpected adventure to find the lost treasure/fortune/prize.
Susan Learns a Lesson
Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
His New Friend
Sam was experiencing a little sad. He wanted to have a new pal to play with. One day, while he was playing in the yard, he saw something unusual. It was a little animal with colorful scales. Sam slowly went up to the creature and spoke, "Hello! What's your name?" The creature smiled and answered Sam, "I'm Lily!" And so, Sam made a new friend. They spent the rest of the day laughing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be great pals forever.
